The name ‘Vista Lago’ perfectly describes the location of the apartments, which are just a few metres from the water and right in the historic centre of Domaso on the beautiful Lake Como.
A short walk takes you to the characteristic pier, where historic fishermen still moor their boats. Many restaurants and bars are also within easy walking distance, so you are spoilt for choice!
The AQUA apartment has a direct view of the lake. The SOL apartment boasts a small terrace from which you can admire a glimpse of the lake. The BREEZE apartment, on the other hand, is set back a little in the courtyard and overlooks the other internal courtyard.
In any case, just open the door and the WOW effect is guaranteed!

Sometimes you don’t even need to get in the car to discover the most enchanting corners of Lake Como. Just step out of the Vista Lago apartments and let your feet guide you: from here, trails and walks gently climb the surrounding hills, offering sudden, spectacular glimpses of the lake’s sparkling waters.
How to reach “Vista Lago”?
By car:
once you reach Domaso, in the old part of town you will find the historic pier connected to the tree-lined avenue. The apartments are located right on the lakefront. The address to set on your GPS navigator is: Via Garibaldi, 13 – 22013 Domaso (CO)
By train:
The most convenient option is from Milano Centrale station. Take the train bound for Tirano and get off at Colico, which is the ideal stop for reaching the apartments. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to Domaso.
By bus:
The public bus line “C110 Como – Argegno – Menaggio – Colico” runs from Como to Colico. The stop for Domaso is Piazza Ghislanzoni (just 50 metres from the apartments). Timetable: https://www.asfautolinee.it/

By plane:
All Milan airports are well connected. Milan Malpensa is about 100 km away, Milan Linate is about 110 km away, and Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio is about 90 km away.
Are pets welcome at “Vista Lago”?
Pets are allowed in the Vista Lago apartments, but only upon request. As the courtyard is shared with other guests and external residents, we will need to assess each individual stay. If a guest arrives with a pet without prior notice, their stay is in no way guaranteed and the full amount paid will not be refunded. The cost for each pet is €10/night.
Does the holiday home have parking?
Private outdoor parking is available free of charge for each apartment, each for a single car up to 5 metres long and 2 metres wide. The parking spaces are located within the enclosed courtyard and are for the exclusive use of Vista Lago guests for the entire duration of their stay. Cars must be removed from the car park at check-out time.
Are the apartments suitable for families with children?
Yes, the apartments are family-friendly. In addition to the number of guests indicated, they can always accommodate an additional child up to 3 years of age at no extra cost. Upon request and subject to availability, a cot and high chair can be provided free of charge.
For older children, the Sol apartment has two single beds, the Breeze apartment has a bunk bed and the Aqua apartment has a sofa bed (suitable for children up to 12 years of age).
There are no major obstacles for children in any of the apartments, except in Breeze, where there are 6 internal steps connecting the living area to the sleeping area.
Is it possible to hire bicycles or water sports equipment in Domaso?
Of course, in Domaso you can hire bicycles just a few metres from the apartments.

The Soul Surfer water sports centre is located directly on Domaso beach, a 10-15 minute walk from the apartments, and offers all the equipment you need for windsurfing, wingfoiling, SUP and kayaking: https://www.windsurf-comersee.com
Group lessons and private courses are also available from April to October.
Is there a bicycle storage area at “Vista Lago”?
There is no dedicated bicycle storage area in the Vista Lago courtyard, but there are various spaces within the property where guests can safely store their equipment and keep it under cover during their stay.
Are there washing machines, vacuum cleaner and iron available?
Yes, in the courtyard of ‘Vista Lago’ there is a free washing machine for shared use by guests of all three apartments. A clothes horse and clothes pegs are also available under the shared canopy. An iron and ironing board are also available for free use, as is a vacuum cleaner.
Are there hygiene products in the apartments?
A courtesy set is provided free of charge to guests for the first night of their stay. Toilet paper, hand and shower soap, shampoo kit and locally produced face mask: https://www.parrucchierilagodicomo.com
As these are complimentary products, they will not be refilled or replaced once used up.
Is bed linen and towels provided in the holiday home?
Yes, all bed linen: sheets, blankets and pillowcases are provided and prepared for guests.
Towels are also provided: bath towels, face towels and guest towels are available.
Are there any supermarkets and shops near the holiday home?
A few metres from the apartments is the Negozietto, which selects and offers the best Italian food products. Every day you can find fresh bread and everything you need for breakfast and meals, as well as classic household essentials: http://www.ilnegoziettodomaso.com.
There are also two larger supermarkets in Domaso, which can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car.
How does the cancellation policy work?
Depending on the rate chosen at the time of booking, guests may cancel as follows:
Non-refundable rate:
- 100% of the total cost of the stay is due upon confirmation of the booking
- no refunds or changes are possible free of charge
Standard/Weekly Rate:
- within 15 days prior to arrival, a refund of the full amount of the stay will be granted
- less than 15 days prior to arrival, the total amount of the stay will be retained and is non-refundable.
Where can I charge my electric car in Domaso?
A few metres from the apartments, about a 3-5 minute walk away, there are municipal charging stations for electric cars.

Is the holiday home close to public transport stops?
Yes, the Piazza Ghislanzoni stop is about 50 metres from the flats and allows you to reach Colico as the northern terminus and Como as the southern terminus.
Is it possible to take the boat from Domaso to visit the lake?
Yes, the Domaso pier is about a 5-minute walk from the apartments. The boat and hydrofoil allow you to visit all the most popular and renowned tourist areas of the lake, such as Bellagio, Lenno and Varenna: https://www.navigazionelaghi.it/biglietti-e-orari-lago-di-como/
How do check-in and check-out work?
Standard check-in times are from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Rosie and her team will meet guests at the entrance gate to provide all the information they need for their stay.
If you plan to arrive outside these hours, you can contact Rosie via WhatsApp on +39 333 3426392 to check availability.
As there is no reception, it is essential to always communicate your estimated arrival time as soon as possible so that key collection can be arranged.
Check-out is possible from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Rosie and her team will meet guests on their departure for a final farewell.
